Scrapland on Steam?
So I just bought Psychonauts and thought about getting Scrapland too, just to discover it is not available on Steam. I was like "wtf?!".
So I'm curious now: would you buy Scrapland if it was available for something under $10? It's a great adventure game, and I don't know why so many people think it is a "meh" game. The few that love it, love it wholeheartedly. It may not have reached the cult status that Psychonauts has, but it still is a great game. For many players, including me, it was the "first GTA".

No. I didn't really like the game, and I don't really like any of American Mcgee's work beyond the first Alice.

And, weirdly enough, the game was no Psychonauts in quality nor delivery.

What I liked about it was that it looked polished, though this was easy to do because of the theme. Robots can be made to look good even with few poligons. And I never encountered game breaking bugs. In fact I don't remember encountering any bugs at all. For under $10 it would be a fine game, maybe $5 if on a sale.

The last is Grimm, and doesn't want to load for some reason.

I am sort of tracking down classic games that trigger my nostalgia. Some of them I already have on disk (like Psychonauts, Scrapland, DF: LW). Heretic+Hexen would be a nice addition, since I don't have them, but then again medieval themes are not really my thing. Quake and Quake 2 are too expensive for $10 and Unreal games don't seem to give me the buyer's impulse. So I don't really know what I'd like. Hmm... maybe some Serious Sam?

Sam is fun for an over the top retro shooter vibe, and even more fun when you can get some friends involved in the chaos.

I know, I have the first one on disk. And I see the seccond is under-ten, so I think I'll go for it. DF: LW is nice, but since I have it already, maybe the Steam edition can wait.

These two games are sadly not on Steam. Although you can still get them online, the psychical copies I mean. Bad Day LA is really not that much. You can usually find it for $5 to $10. Scrapland's prices vary depending where you get it from. I remember I got mine for $2 on ebay but that was some years back.

I have physical copies of both, but I don't have a dvd/r on my pc so I need to find a way to get these digitally.
