why are pc gamers such jerks to console players
ok i know that every pc gamer is not a jerk but almost everytime i see someone say any thing good about a console on the internet there is always a pc master race member to make sure they know why console sucks and its stupid because in the end arent we all having fun and enjoying games and im a pc and console gamer and even though i play mostly on console
i have a decent gaming pc so why cant all gamers be equal

Most PC gamers (myself included) don't actually hate console gamers. We hate console gaming itself.

Consoles hold the industry back, they're overpriced, weak, and simply inferior.

yes but some people dont want to spend 400-500 on a pc that will have a shorter life span than the xbone or ps4 and for me atleast i prefer controller for every game besides a few fps games
and i think the large amount of AAA exclusives justify buying one

One word. Consolitis.

There's nothing wrong with consoles themselves. But I think PC gamers in general are sick and tired of the trend of "cutting edge" pc games turning out to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ console ports.

A PC won't have a shorter lifespan than a console. You'll just have to start lowering graphic settings and resolution as games start to look better, just like what happens to consoles.

And you can use your controllers on PC too. Any controller can be made to work with PC.

well thats the developers fault

Because most of the pc community are arrogant ♥♥♥♥♥. I used to be a console gamer and I used to pay cod with all my friends, zombies when I got bored ect. I feel that for console gaming now I do both, I just feel like I would rather slouch on the sofa than upright in my chair. Alot of the pc Elitests are also nerds and internal spec ♥♥♥♥♥♥
supertrooper225 Jul 28, 2015 @ 1:12pm
This is a gamer thing. Xbox users are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to Sony users and vice versa...PC users hate anything other than PC because they think it somehow makes games worse for their holy platform of choice. I love my PC. But I am not going to ♥♥♥♥ on others because they prefer a certain system. In terms of the console port 'trend'.....it isn't a trend. That has been happening since the mid 90's. Younger people just want to get into some kind of drama and keep ♥♥♥♥ like that alive becase humanity is doomed.

a 400-500 $ pc yes it can last but it wont last 7-8 years like a console maybe 4-5 years before you will need a upgrade because a graphics card for 209 most likely wont run a game from 2015
and yes i do know you can use a controller on pc

PC's are high entry cost...low game cost. You actually save money in the long run.

I would make the argument that if consoles didn't exist games would be better optimized on PC and a 400/500 dollar PC would last 7-8 years... Not at the highest setting but you'd be able to play games on it.

Here is what I always tell people, PC gaming is expensive in the short run, cheap in the long run. Console gaming is cheap in the short run, expensive in the long run.

I dont see why we should argue about this. It shouldnt matter what we play on, since we all love games.

Yes, they may not last quite as long, but you can use all the money you save on Steam sales and not having to pay for online access to keep your PC upgraded.

And if you know you can use controllers on PC, why did you use that as an argument to make consoles look better?

Why are you getting this notion that every PC game coming out on the market is some AAA title with large system requirements?

ps3 never needed subs. and there isnt much point going for ps3 to ps4. might as well wait for ps5 or whatever they are going to do, the latest generation of console doesnt seem to be as good as the previous versions but console players will buy anything lol.
and there are also many console exclusives that people may rather have over the pc ones
