Do you think green bananas are really cucumbers?
and yellow cucumbers are bananas?

Cucumbers are gourds (or rather vegetables), bananas are fruit. They have nothing in common.

Was that in response to me? If so, i am not quite certain that article is right. But maybe my information is outdated. I once learned that in order to be a fruit the object in question has to blossom out of the flower.

A cucumber however has its flower at the lower end of the cucumber itself. It doesn't blossom out of the flower, the flower blossoms out of the cucumber. That doesn't make it a fruit.

The easiest defining trait of a fruit is that it has seeds. But of course you know that. Just like a tomato is a fruit. Which technically makes ketchup a Jam, but I get off topic.

They might as well be the same thing. They are both primary ingredients in salads, which means they are garbage.
