more like: scared straight into friendship is magic

most of the show introduces bad kids and teens to prisoners and jailers who act like coaches who straight up treat them as if they are in the army, informing them how jail is a terrible place, yet seeing them as coaches, makes it look like they have freedom in thier new home and why they coaches? who the hell knows. they tell the kids and teens dont do this and that. strict lunch times and no standing up to go get water? WTF? jail or not, thats too strict. or else a guard readies his gun? WTF? they even have a group talk and at the end they are friends and hug? THE ♥♥♥♥ IS GOING ON?

they said at the start saying prison is hell and no one cares yet everyone there are already ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brothers and they get all happy at the end? huh? hold hands? THIS AINT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PRESCHOOL. ITS JAIL

Haven't seen the newer stuff but the old scared straight was definitely a good reinforcement to tow the line.

The thing is you know they don't let these kids around violent criminals. These guys are probably from a minimum-security prison or minimum security ward. Went to prison for petty stuff like too much Mary Jane or something.

because they're not going to put anybody actually hard in a room with a bunch of teens and let them get within arm's distance. That is a hostage situation or murder situation in the waiting.
