Could A New Console Dethrone Xbox, Playstation, and PC Gaming?

I've been wondering, could a future games console made from a new company ever dethrone the big three(Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo) AND pc gaming?
Lets say a new company enters the game market in 2016/2017 with a new console

What features, specs, and price point would get people to ditch their current platform? Is it even possible?

Steam's Console should come out sometime and if That's good then Xbox and Playstation are finished.
Though, Playstation has better games on it.

Considering all but Nintendo, because Nintendo seems to always have new ideas, that is too different for any other console to copyright without it sucking horribly.

I've been interested in Ouya a little, but I mean one that seemed like a HUGE competitor

I don't see it happening, though I would love it if Sega came back. The dreamcast was awesome. What is more likely to happen than a new company entering the console wars is that Nintendo will either scrap or marginalize the WiiU and make a console that has some interesting new feature, but is also beefed up to be able to run 3rd party multiplatform games which the WiiU is crippled by.

The only way Xbox or Playstation can be dethroned, is if Sony and MSFT stop making consoles. The Ouya tried to compete and failed miserably.

PC gaming is its own beast and as such should not be compared to console gaming (since it's not a console). They're completely different things that thrive in their own way. The Steambox wants to be a console, in the sense that it's small, simple, and hooked up to a TV, but it's still just a PC in a small shell.
