An ARPG with a healer class? I don't know....
If you want an MMORPG, Neverwinter has a pretty classic healer class and dungeons for you to crawl in.
In my opinion Path of Exile is better than Torchlight 2. TL2 has lots of modding, but if you are not into that and look at the base game you may get disappointed. Story is vague and uninspiring. There were some interestingly designed magical NPC creatures that struck me kinda like Tyrael in Diablo 2 did, but that's about all that impressed me. More importantly the game, to me, is too much of a visual overkill. Too many effects exploding on it. Combat looks and feels like a total mess that way. PoE has more unique aspects without being such a mess. And it looks good even. TL2 has a coherent style, but ultimatively rather awful models and textures. Looks very much like WoW, which isn't exactly known to be impressive to the eye either.
Having people on TL who worked on Diablo previously means nothing. On the contrary one may believe they dwell too much on it. I'm not playing too many ARPGs but TL2 may be a stagnation of the genre rather than a proper evolving of it. I didn't play the first TL but I've seen reviews on TL2 stating the same, that it brings no real fresh wind into it. So, I am very sceptical about that certain hype train it's apparently getting from some die-hard fans of it.
