Should I buy SimCity 5?
I know it had a tough launch and had a ton of bugs following the release, but as of now is it worth it to buy it? Have they sorted out most of the bugs? I have seen a lot of mixed opinions on it and would like to some outside opinions before I purchase it.

Well, AoM is full of bugs and I really regret that I bought it! So think twice about it!

It's a bit different from older SimCity games, but it is still fun. You should be able to get it for a fairly cheap price now as well, so I'd say if you like SimCity games you should get it.

I've had it sitting on my Origin account since launch.

I'm also wondering the same thing. Well that is, whether it is playable/enjoyable now.

On a positive note, I got Tomb Raider for free from EA due to Simcity launch issues. EA worst company in the US? Maybe if you ask nerd ragers.

My opinion the maps in the regions are a little small but if you ignore that problem its a good game Maxis patched it so you can play in offline mode too

Thank you three for all your helpful input! I will probably end up getting the game. :)

It was on sale a few days/weeks ago. I got it and it's pretty good, I had fun with but I don't think I'll play 100 hours on it since the cities are very small and you have to start over each time. Yet it is a challenger of optimizing space. I also think the expansion cities of tomorow is pretty good (I got both at 50% off, the reduction might still be there on origins).

There has been some pretty good mods being release and are a must. It's worth getting on a sale though.

Yes. Everything's been fixed except city size.

Sim City 4 is much better and much Mod friendlier, not to mention that Sim city 5 is still and unrevocably flawed

Not really, they added offline mode, which was the biggest issue and underlying issue. For example adding offline mode added unlimited cites and quitting without saving

Sim City 4 is real outdated though
