The charities mentioned by a few Youtubers. Have all been bad ones. Cancer, heart, whatever charities claiming to be for the good of man. They are all bastard organisations that really fund a bunch of fools to make foolish mistakes.

Its not the numbers that matter. Its how those numbers are used.
Likewise. They just pocket half of the money then they find the nearest "scientist" and pay them the rest. I also don't like people that brag about donating to an organization, saying " I donated such and such and should be recognized for it." Who cares. You donated, no reason to say how much you ungrateful greedy douche. I'm just in a ranting mood.

Those are some pretty serious accusations. Just out of interest, do you have anything to back them up?

History. Medical history. Peoples promises made. Hans Ruesch's books; Slaughter of the Innocent (2003 version), Naked Empress or The great medical fraud, 1000 doctors against Vivisection. A collection of his information center papers called CIVIS foundation reports, that were once posted on a website dedicated to him but is now gone and domain taken over. Although I do still have copies of those on a hard drive somewhere. Also the books and other books recommended I have somewhere.

So if you really are interested, have an open mind, then I can send this information to you. Although you should still be able to buy those books at least on Amazon.

All I see are a bunch of anti-vivisection books. Last I checked there are plenty of charities that don't donate a cent to medical research, animal testing or otherwise. For example, looking at PewDiePie's wiki page right now, neither "Save the Children" nor the "Water Campaign" do any sort of Animal testing AFAIK.

I don't need to read any of your books to know they don't back up your claims that the money given to other such groups are wasted, even if their claims about vivisection being useless are right.

I knew you would do this. And yet the offer of information is still open.

Oh, I know, he couldn't hold an argument on some other thread either. I just enjoy the challenge.

My profile is private. Ooh big deal.

You jump in "the other thread" just to spout a wiki link, I disagree with it and you get all "butt hurt" about it. Then you carry on, I say what and why I think. You totally ignore those comments and finish off with an ego attack.
But I don't even need to say what is what. Everyone can pretty much make their own decision or impression from that thread.

Oh the drama.

What would it prove, though? Like I said, all it will prove at best is that Vivisection is pointless. Which has nothing to do with charities designed to provide water infrastructure or help get kids off the streets.

Feel free to tell me what else it'll prove that might actually be relevant, otherwise no thank you.

No. If you scroll back up to what I said, I mentioned Youtubers with cancer, heart charities. Thats what I am mostly aware of. The other charities to do with say third worlders, strictly human poverty, poor folk etc. could be considered out of my field....Or are they? Because if you find out one type of charity is dirty, others tend to follow the same or similar trend. Or lets say history logs are completely wiped. I don't see the ads begging for money, donations etc stopping. People are still poor, exploited and its as if theres a time loop or ground hog day effect.

Ok the book Slaughter of the Innocent indeed explains just about vivisection, animal research etc. But the book Naked Empress goes a bit further than that.

Or if you want to skip that and other books (which would be stupid since it does all connect) then there is still the CIVIS stuff. That definitely covers how exactly charities, organizations, whatever you want to call them, go about this dirty business. Up to you.

If by "butthurt" you mean "invite you to provide your own counter-evidence", then yes, I did get "butthurt". But instead of providing sources to back up your fallicious statements and counter my sources, you responded with "first control your ego, then control your keyboard". SUCH a compelling argument.

But sure, let's leave a link and let people decide if you're not telling the tale the wrong way around: http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/12/558748566695408292/#c619568793819047050

Nice one :)

"Bragging" about donating money to charity is more likely to encourage other people to follow suite. Keeping quiet isn't likely. So, bragging in this case is more likely to do good.

The person could say. "I donated to a charity because I felt generous" No need to show legal donation papers and say how much you donated 300 times in a video. Maybe encouraging others to donate too. I only see celebrities do stuff like this. It's always about the money and limelight to them and nothing about actually helping.

It may well be all about self-promotion to them, but I'm sure the charities don't mind all the donations it can bring.

Wait, wait... Vivisection is pointless? Since when?

Also on the topic of charities, have there been any worth donating to?

Ummmm. The one that helps against breast cancer I guess. I'm not too trusting when my money gets sent to people where it doesn't get monitored.
