Scariest indie horror?
Looking for indie horror games to try, I've tried most of the free ones and especially enjoyed Dungeon Nightmares since I'm all for jumpscares, is there anything similar or even scarier?
In case you don't know the game see for yourself how it made this poor girl cry lol

(you can find other vids on the dev twitter page @kmonkeyblog, just linking the most recent one)
Anyway anything with a good creepy atmosphere and lots of jumpscares? Been browsing youtube for ideas but didn't find much so far

You know, there is such a thing as point and click horror...

And Five Nights At Freddy's does it the best.

If it's subtle point-and-click horror you are looking for, try the Submachine series. It was made by some foreign indie developer who has been working from 2005-2014 on numerous games of his. (Estimate)
Submachine has a grim atmosphere and dark music, and the creep-factor rises well above anything else in the series.

Back on topic,
I can't seem to find a pure, original, indie horror that seems to just click with me. The closest I've gotten was Five Nights at Freddy's and Penumbra.
Submachine... Going back to my childhood here.
Outlast, original F.E.A.R., and Amnesia series.

OMG SOMEONE ALREADY SAY IT AND IS NOT A POINT AND CLICK
You are stuck in a room, and can't walk. That is a point and click game.
OH YEAH ! .... its true sorry bro .. (SNAP NECK AND MOVE TAQHT A$$)
Clive Barker's Undying, all the way, by far my most horrific and amazing sensation I've ever had from a video game. Not indie, but who cares? It is amazing game.. Just try to search for some gameplay, and play it yourslef. Headphones are a must, sound counts 90% in this game.
SLENDER... oh wait, is that not what you're looking for? Oh, I don't care, I have nyctophobia so I get scared of games easily... (google nyctophobia, it's real, and it's annoying.) I constantly feel like I am being watched/followed because of the game Slender. I sleep with the light on every night. So... yeah...
is frekin 5 night at tihs ♥♥♥♥♥ .. freedy (HEAD EXPLODE AFTER A NEW HEAD GROW)

Ok, before I say this know I am a HUGE Clive Barker fan. Three years ago for halloween I was Pinhead.

Undying was more atmospheric horror. Not jumpscares and the like. The game was more creepy than scary. Great game btw. I think it's on GoG.
NOBODY CARE ! (no seriously im really sorry i just wanted to say taht really hard and i know waht i said dont make sence (hit myself ) see)
Five Nights At Freddys and Scp containment breach for me. Slender and amnesia are over rated in my opinion. FNAF and SCP both have a really awesome fanbase, and the stories for both are insane! Check them out. Also, search up some scp characters, it makes the game make more sense.
@SCP-173

Quick! Somebody get the straitjacket!
