FINAL FANTASY TACTICS WOTL HD ON STEAM
We the people of steam, Would like to make it known that: If the new Final Fatasy Tactics: War of the Lions HD (that recently came out for ios (wtf) for 9 bucks) were to show up in the next few months on steam, we would probably pay 15 US dollars (20 even) for that and be SO HAPPY. Please, port and release this game for steam (and consols.) Please dont forget to think about that mouse control. The HD update looks SO good! LIKE IF YOU AGREE!

There is so much more that can be done to enchance this game too. Adding in some of the nice improvements from the mod community like Final fantasy Tactics: Rebirth mod would be great. It's got thigs like every group of enemys has a slightly more powerful "leader" in the group. as well as some changes to make things a little tougher. These are subtle things that dont take anythign away form the coregame by drastically changing it but added a little more flavor to the battles.

Think about DLC options too. a multiplayer map pack (multiplayer would be easy if you just ban out the use of a few lategame classes.(and/or make it a one of each job type only thing.) Think about facing an opponent with your assortment of classes that have different abilitys, on a grid, turn by turn Its almost chesslike. Maybe implement some pvp gear to balance things out too. :D

also more content how hard can it be to make a few new maps based on voxels (minecraft palyers could design maps for this) and tell a short story with it.

I definitely second this. Been looking to see if there were such plans, all I can find are fans asking for it.

I for one would LOVE to see FFT come onto Steam with updated graphics. The biggest thing I want (even more over graphics) is the ability to play multiplayer online with friends. The PSP multiplayer was great to have, but extremely restricted to people being within 25 ft of you. :\ MORE Multiplayer missions can help make this game even more awesome :D

The PSP version is incredible. However, Sony has no idea how to manage a portable console for ♥♥♥♥, so I'd love to see a version for a machine that's still supported and not considered utterly obsolete.

The cost is honestly trivial to me. You're probably right about it being 15-20 USD, perhaps 30, but it's still worth it, to me. If you're a fan of tactical games, you'll love it. The changes they've made since the initial launch on PS1 make it an entirely different experience, and much for the better. Added cutscenes, better translation of the story, better presentation of the story elements (it makes next to no sense on the PS1 without getting outside help due to the poor translation of some parts). Not to mention extra content: multiplayer, more job classes, more abilities, more special characters.

I support this hugely and would love to get a copy. In fact, since the intial release of FF7 on Steam, I've been rather excited that I have digital back ups to my PS1 and PSP games. I don't care if anything changes about them, it saves me a lot of work trying to do it from disc.

Also, this is probably amongst the pinnacle of tactical RPGs (the story and music are phenomenal) and I see no reason to just not start putting all the best games on Steam, espcially from the "classic" era of games (the 90's). These nearly 20-year-old titles still beat the crap out of the lame wallet-draining-programs that people call games these days.

So, in summary, hell yes, bring it on!

I would support that too. However, there is NO tactical rpg that has the magic and replayability of Final Fantasy Tactics.

Agreed! I cant tell you how many hundreds (probably thousands...) of hours I've spent because each battle is new and different - especially with all the different job classes available. This game is definitely one for replayability and for involvement of the mind! :D

What can we do to get the favor of Square Enix to port the game over? This is truely a Masterpiece for generations to come. what better way and better platform to share the experiance then through Steam? I for one want to persue this and even gather support from the fans that are here in Steam. let's not stop here, lets start a group to gather support!

I'm loving the trend of the old FF games coming to steam, and tactics is definitely a release i'd pay full price to play with upgraded graphics!
