How many would vote for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition to be on Steam?
Hello everyone,

I am wondering how many fans out there, would love to see the remake of halo 1 called Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary that so far has only been released for the Xbox 360 to now be ported to the PC platform and to be released for steam to take care of.

Conditions for MS would be
No additional sign in to some stupid MS account that killed the original Halo 2.
The addition of quickmatches besides the keeping of dedicated servers.
And the ability to have the new co op capability in the campaign that was released for the xbox 360.
Lastly, not to make this an exclusive campatibility issue with Win 8 only. I know some people like Win 8 but I like my Win 7. So MS should make this campaitible with Win 7 and up. Sorry Win XP guys but Win XP doesn't support Directx 11. So it would be a hard thing to ask that they make this compatible with Win XP. But Win 7 and up they should make this for.

If these conditions are met besides keeping the gameplay to the original gameplay feel, just like they did when they rereleased this for the Xbox 360, I would pay them my $60 bucks.

How many of you would vote yes to this? Please respond you would like to see it on PC. MS needs to see that there are enough fans that actually do care, to think about spending the money to port it to PC. Thanks

Why Microsoft... the makers of Windows... don't make Halo available for their own operating system... blows my mind

I would welcome all the Halo games to the PC platform. It's where they belong.

Halo: A has no mods unlike Halo:CE/custom edition. So, no (unless they bundle it w/ Reach, since it uses models, character, and other stuff from Reach's MP) or if they added mod support.

Add one more term - custom servers and custom maps support.
But I'm in anyway.

thats kind of a "duh" moment right there... Anniversary was on consoles only, and maybe 3 PS3 games aside, no console game has mods.. not legally anyways.

It could be updated just like CE Custom Edition was.
Halo CE didn't have mods originally either until a while later when Custom edition released.

Well, I don't need any HD remakes, mods are enough. Halo trilogy for me, please!

I wonder if someone could make a mod for reach that doubles or even triples the amount of AI in the levels if it came to PC.That would be epic.

I would buy it for the full price.
