The pacing is perfect, characters are great, plot is interesting and different, it rarely feels boring. Its just high quality and interesting show and that's why people like it. Its not another 6 to 13 season show that drags all the way to the ending like many others.
Morbid fascination with "reality TV" and a paradoxical mix of schadenfreude and empathy, I'd say.
Eh. "Really good" is debatable. Most popular things are not what I'd call "really good", but I guess there's no accounting for taste.
For a popular show it's very ok tho
Love them even before SG
Popular things can't be good because your opinion is superior to opinion of million others?
When it comes to what I consider "good entertainment", yes, my opinion is superior to the opinions of million others. In fact, it's the only relevant one, because it's the only one that can affect my choice of entertainment.
