Are 60fps Youtube videos looking strange for you, too?
Whenever I watch a Youtube video in 60fps I always have the feeling that something is wrong with the video. It always feels like someone put the video in fast forward mode and everything runs at double the speed it actually should. This makes me feel dizzy after a while and also gives me small headaches. I really wish YouTube would offer the option to switch between 30 and 60 fps, but for the moment I watch videos in 480p again. Does someone has similar experience with the new 60fps videos?

Well, yes, mainly because we were used to 30FPS in a lot of years. I'm slowly getting used to 60FPS.

I personally never saw a difference between 480p and 720p. Only when I watched something in 1080p did I notice a significant difference. As for 60fps vs 30fps they both look fine to me. 60fps doesn't look like it is faster to me. Could just be that I am use to it.

Well I see a small difference in them. 480p looks a bit more blurry for me when I watch the video in full screen or Cinematic mode. But that is just for me and doesn't mean that it's the same for other people.

Here's a 30fps v. 60fps comparison for Dirt 3. The website also includes a few other games to view. Can see the difference though

The Mirror's Edge and BF4 (Driving) comparisons show it best

24fps. Films and most TV were shot at 24 fps. Soap operas were often filmed at 30fps, which why they look different than normal film and also why 60 and 48 fps video reminds a lot of people of looking like soap operas. Those old CRT TVS and monitors had refresh rates ranging from 60 to as high as 120 or 144.

Probably the way it was encoded. I notice 60fps on my monitor looks different than 60fps on youtube.
