The Chan is down...again...

This time it looks like someone hacked the site rather than a backend issue.

A lot of the janitors and mods got doxed. One of the admin accounts is completely compromised. And people got to see what actually goes on in /j/, one of the hidden boards. Also, anyone who gave their email to HIroyuki Nishimura for either the 4chan Pass or to bypass the new 15-minute wait time on new IPs meant as a stopgap to minimize spam got doxed.

Which, there were a lot of .edu and .gov emails on the moderator side of things.

Regardless, the people behind this hack also doxed Nemlei of The Coffin of Andy and Leyley fame and were in part responsible for a considerable chunk of the Team Fortress 2 bot crisis. Among other things, like harassing a Dutch cartoonist and grooming kids over Discord.

In any case, 8chan is still up, it's sister site Prolikewoah is still up, and some idiots made the mistake of going to 8kun.
