"Kremlin" sounds like some kind of cookie brand.
If you don't vote then you and your opinion don't matter.
It's not just about the positive choice of voting for what you do want, it's also about the negative effect of cancelling out the vote of someone voting for something you definitely don't want!
Meanwhile, the Electoral College (a group mainly comprised of retired politicians, PACs, relatives of politicians, etc) are the ones who decide who the actual President will be.
Not the American people, whose votes are literally worthless.
Especially in 24 states, where it's perfectly legal for the Electors to ignore the people's votes, and just vote for whoever the Elector wants.
Kinda puts it all in perspective.
But hey, that also means the people can't be blamed for whoever is in office, as they truly didn't elect them.
