I love noodles but I can't eat them very often, just had some top ramen chicken flavor.

i like rice noodles better. instant ramen isn't the best.

Never actually tried either. Unless ramen are those cheap 'insta-noodles' things where you just add hot water and a bag of spices wait a few minutes and stir? Ate those a lot in my student years in the 90s 'Mr. Lee' was the brand.

But the first time I heard the word 'ramen' was actually when I played the game Cloudpunk, where it was sold at street food vendors.

yeah when people speak of ramen it's usually the cheap crappy instant kind. real ramen is way better
