Batman vs Superman?
Okay I know this is nothing related to gaming thats why I posted this is off-topic... but who do you think will win?

I go with Batman, because he has plans to kill the whole Justice Leauge. I think Batman would win. What do you think?

Batman, he has ways of getting rid of all the justice league if they do some stupid stuff. plus he has better video games(like way better). and he is rich, so if you get rich, you could become the batman(if you like)!

Superman doesn't have super-intelligence.

Neither does Batman. Batman is a normal human.. well okay not normal. He is bat-sh... crazy. A fanatic to the point of self destruction. He is a skilled martial artist and good detective. That is all he is.

He isn't even a genius inventor. He is a genius detective. Batman doesn't develop his own tech, that is what he has Lucius Fox for. The character Lucius Fox wasn't a creation of the latest movies, but has been around for quite some time, as the person that enables Batman to live his psychopathic lifestyle. He does so by running the business, something Batman can't do (the times Batman ran his own company the company was failing), and supplying Batsy with his tech.

All Bruce does is swoop in, occasionally, and go like "We'll make a softice... Lucius, make it happen" and Lucius makes it happen, while Bruce is driving home to sleep after having been up all night, or having to stay in bed for a few weeks, because half the bones in his body are broken again.

But even if we were to accept that Batman has a general Genius level of Intellect on par with the greatest minds.... it would still remain a fact that Superman's Villians, who Supermans beats on a regular basis are Brainiac (An alien AI), Mister Mxyzptlk (a 5th dimensional being with reality altering powers, that can only be beaten by being outsmarted according to rules this being sets themselves) and Darkseid, a super human being with super intelligence. Not just genius intelligence. Super intelligence.

Those are regular and famous Superman Villains. If anything, that alone speaks to Superman's Intelligence. And we completely disregard about that that Superman Build himself a robot army and all the alien tech and all sort of stuff he stores in his Fortress of Solitude.

And i am far from being a Superman fan... but Batman is completely overhyped.

And his response in the aftermath as to why there wasn't a contingency plan for the Bat was Batman telling Superman that Superman was his contingency should Batsy ever needing to be stopped.

1. Batman isn't a psychopath. He may be mentally unstable but he clearly cares for his parents, the Robins, the Bat Girls, Cat Woman, Thalia, Alfred and others.

2. You can't really judge a hero based on what villains they have defeated, given that most mainstream heroes almost always win eventually.

3. Batman is more than just a good detective and a martial arts master. This is from the DC Wiki:

"Abilities
Indomitable Will: Although he has no superhuman powers, Batman's unstoppable determination and strength of will make him an extremely formidable opponent. This makes him able to function while tolerating massive amounts of physical pain, and also allows him to resist telepathy or mind control.[citation needed] His willpower is strong enough to operate a Green Lantern Ring when necessary.[234]
Intimidation: It is widely known that Batman has the ability to instill fear in others, even the people that know him best are intimidated by him. Even those who aren't afraid of the likes of Superman fear Batman. His ability to inspire great fear made him eligible for induction into the Sinestro Corps, although he was able to fight off the power ring's control.[235]
Interrogation: Batman is adept in interrogation techniques, often using law enforcement methods as well as torture. Several methods seen include hanging a person over the edge of a building by one leg or chaining a person upside down and beating them. He usually just plain uses his frightening appearance to get answers. "Fear is an excellent motivator" he once said.
Peak Human Conditioning: Through intense training, specialized diet, and biofeedback treatments, Batman represents the pinnacle of human physical prowess. His physical attributes exceeded that of any Olympic level athlete that has ever completed.[citation needed] Strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes and coordination are at peak human perfection. Batman began his physical and mental conditioning when he was 11 and then intense physical training and weight lifting at age 12. He has mastered full body control by the time he was 18. Bruce Wayne, since the age of 15, has created a strict diet to enable his body to develop and operate at its most proficient, along with biofeedback treatments (using portable/non portable machines to stimulate muscles to contraction). Batman has performed amazing physical feats due to his superior physique. He engaged in an intensive regular regimen of rigorous exercise (including aerobics, weight lifting, gymnastics, and simulated combat) to keep himself in peak condition, and has often defeated opponents whose size, strength, or other powers greatly exceeded his own. He has spent his entire life in pursuit of physical perfection and has attained it through constant intensive training and determination.
Peak Human Strength: Batman regularly bench-presses at least 1000 lbs. during his exercise routine.[236]
Peak Human Reflexes: Bruce's reflexes were honed to such a degree that he has caught one of Green Arrow's arrows in mid flight when he tried to shoot him. He has also been able to dodge point blank gunfire.
Peak Human Speed: He could run at speeds comparable to the finest competing athletes.
Peak Human Endurance: His endurance was comparable to that of the finest Olympic Decathlon participant. His lung capacity was so great that he could hold his breath underwater for 3 minutes and 15 seconds. He can survive in the airless vacuum of space for exactly 27 seconds.
Peak Human Agility: His agility was greater than that of a Chinese acrobat and an Olympic gold medalist gymnast. His main phase of movement was Parkour which he learned in France and used that to scale the cities rooftops in an acrobatic manner.
Acrobatics: He is proficient in gymnastics and acrobatics.
Martial Arts: Bruce is well trained in multiple martial arts, he is known as the man who has mastered 127 forms of martial arts. His primary form of combat is an idiosyncratic admixture of Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Muay Thai, Dragon Style Kung Fu, Boxing, Jujitsu, Ninjitsu and Capoeira.
Weaponry: Through his martial arts training, he has become an expert on all melee weapons. Wayne has displayed exceptional sword fighting capability and proficiency with knives, sticks and various other weapons. He practices during his combat sessions to keep his skills intact, but he prefers unarmed combat.
Stealth: His Ninjutsu training has made him a master at stealth and capable of breaching high security facilities without being detected.
Marksmanship: Wayne is an expert marksman skilled. He is skilled with throwing projectile weapons, archery and firearms. He has been practicing such skills since the early days of his training and is almost on par with the Green Arrow in terms of accuracy.
Genius Level Intellect: Batman is a brilliant, virtually peerless, detective, strategist, scientist, tactician, and commander; he is widely regarded as one of the keenest analytical minds on the planet. Given his lack of superpowers, he often uses cunning and planning to outwit his foes, rather than simply "out-fighting" them.
Polymath: He has studied Biology, Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Mythology, Geography and History. Gained degrees in Criminal Science, Forensic Sciences, Computer Sciences, Chemistry and Engineering by the time he was 21. He has mastered Diverse Environmental Training, Security Systems, and illusion/sleight of hand by the time he was 23. He gained even more degrees in Biology, Physics, Advanced Chemistry, and Technology by the time he was 25. He had learned Forensic Sciences, Medical Sciences, Expanded Computer and Engineering Sciences,[original research?] and Expanded Device Pool use of personal powered armor and system, database creation on underworld crime bosses, rogue's gallery foes and other supervillains; improved material sciences for body armor and micro-machinery by the time he was 26.[citation needed] Has also learned Advanced New Development in Forensic and Medical Sciences.
Eidetic Memory: Batman has total recall and can remember anything in great detail.
Investigation: He is widely considered as the World's Greatest Detective, capable of observation, forensic investigation, and inductive and deductive reasoning of the highest caliber. Human intuition is an unlearnable trait and one of Batman's most effective tools. Given any mystery, he can arrive at the correct conclusions with a fraction of the data.
Multilingualism: He is able to speak Spanish, French, Latin, German, Japanese, English, Russian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Greek, Portuguese, Arabic, Sanskrit, Hindi, Thai and possibly more.
Tactical Analysis: He commonly utilizes cunning tactics to outwit his foes. He is an excellent leader and at times commands the Justice League and the Outsiders, Batman is known as one of the greatest strategists and tacticians in the dc universe, and once even Aquaman stated the same.
Leadership: He is known for having great leadership. He is leader of the Outsiders, the Bat Family and Batman Incorporated. Also he is in charge of his whole company.
Escapology: He has been described as second only to Mister Miracle as an escape artist. He has been seen escaping from a Posey straitjacket in less than 52 seconds, and remarked afterwards that the time was way too slow for him.
Driving: Bruce is proficient at driving many vehicles like cars, motor bikes, trucks and he is also skillful at driving jets, helicopters and auto boats and small ships.
Tracking: Trained in hunting techniques by African Bushmen (the Ghost Tribes of the Ten-eyed Brotherhood, among others).
Disguise: Has mastered the art of disguise by the time he was 23. Has further learned expanded disguise techniques by the time he was 26. Batman has many aliases he uses to infiltrate the underworld or just to go undercover in public situations. His current aliases are: Matches Malone, Thomas Quigley, Ragman, Detective Hawke, Sir Hemingford Grey, Frank Dixon, Gordon Selkirk, and Mr. Fledermaus.
Mechanical Aptitude: Proficient at combat driving. Has learned improved vehicle designs. Was trained and proficient in basic vehicles operations.
Business Management: Bruce Wayne has extensive skills and experience in business management, has thorough understanding of financial marketing and management and is often known as a example of successful industrialist and businessman on par to Lex Luthor.
Strength level
Peak Human Strength: Batman engages in an intensive exercise regimen, and because of this, his strength, like all other physical attributes, is at the peak of human perfection. He is shown to be able to bench-press at least 1000 lbs."

^^^Holy Gaben's chins, Batman! They're not real. They're cartoons. Drawings on paper. Puppets. You don't need to write essays and quote Wikipedia articles because they're not real and don't affect any facets of human life on Earth.

...

Barring Za Warudo aside, Superman can move at the speed of light. He would just *SWOOP* and Batman would be dead faster than you can say "prepared". Would he ever do it? No, yes, who cares? They're not real.

The real winners are the Warner Brothers executives who make millions off these brand names alone without ever once caring about the rich lore or thousands of fans who follow it. The fact that WB can profit off a movie about Superman literally murdering an entire city's worth of people and snapping a fellow Kryptonian's neck should tell you something.

Actually, he doesn't. And lets not get into the subject of his pedophilia with the robins. I mean the man clearly has issues, as soon as his charge turns 16, he gets a new 8 year old.

And of course.. this is a thing: http://i.crackedcdn.com/phpimages/article/6/3/4/26634.jpg?v=1

So Batman overcoming his villians with his smarts is okay, but pointing out that other heroes also use their smarts, isn't?

3. Batman is more than just a good detective and a martial arts master. This is from the DC Wiki:

All i am reading there, is that he is a human, with peak human abilities. Everyone can learn to have an Eidetic memory. There are techniques you can learn to train yourself to have an eidetic memory. It is also entirely independent of a persons intelligence.

Other than that his education is pretty much the same education you can expect from about any other forensic investigator that visited a college. The fact that he learned that by the age of 21... well is quite frankly ridiculous, but that are comics for you. (Even a supergenius wouldn't have the time to study that many subject AND have the physical training regimen to become a Ninja)

Bottom line.. his intelligence doesn't seem that extraordinary to me. I too have studied Biology, Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Mythology, Geography and History. I actually also studied literature and chemistry. Its called going to highschool. As you might notice, they list the stuff he actually has a degree in separately.

Not to mention that all of these things have a "citation needed" mark, and if we look to his languages it says "and possibly more"... that sounds like something a fanboy would write and hardly like an actual profile.

And we better completely disregard the whole "he does benchpress at least 1000lbs" thing, considering the world record is at 722lbs... but maybe they mean to say he does those with a bench shirt..

Anyway.. bottom line... the bat is a human being. Superman is a 'new god'.

Batman pretty clearly cares for the people listed. Even discounting Robin and Bat Girl, he has a father/son type relationship with Alfred, romantic relationships with Cat Woman and Thalia and he given how much their deaths affected him, he clearly loved his parents.

I never used Batman defeating his villians with his smarts being a sign of intelligience as a point, so you can't fault me for that.

You may have studied those topics but would you call yourself an expert in them?

People just say Batman because they want to root for the underdog. If Batman is simply just a man in a costume and Superman is an alien with incredible powers... in the real world (not comics) Superman would obviously destroy Batman. But if they both are out to fight crime and clean up the streets they would just get along and fight crime and terrorism together.
This argument is dumb as ♥♥♥♥, since it gets answered every generation. Batman beats Superman in every official release where they fight.

What is the argument? The argument is those that think might makes right, and superman, the literal physical dominant in a situation, should win.

And if they guy that uses his strengths as weaknesses, fight super powered bad guys head on, might have a counter for the man of steel, since he sees him as a threat, and the JL Doom movie proves batman's plans kick the hell out of the JL and the only reason the survive is Batman.

I just dropped a goof as I am fighting elsewhere for something a touch more important, I'll be back to argue on point tomorrow. Night all/

No, Superman always beats Batman.

After 20 years.. no, not really. To much has changed, new information and i honestly stopped caring, because i didn't need the information. Back then... i'd say i was pretty well versed. Would i go as far as to claim to be an expert? Probably not. But i also don't see it listed as 'expert knowledge', just listed as "studied".
listen

it depends

if batman knew he was coming

hed have prep time

if not

superman punches through wall and bursts his head open
anyone who says batman howevor is being incredibally unrealistic
