Even if I were gay, I won't find it a problem. But it does make certain situations uncomfortable whenever I bring up something that I want to do without having them think I'm gay.

I remember my brother thought I was gay because I'm a dude and I was doing fashion design. And a few friends thought I was gay because I was too well dressed (My female BFFs told me this).

I just told them "Don't be silly, I'm still a lesbian"

Eventually they stopped thinking I was gay. And now I think my brother thinks I am again.

But idk, I rarely tell my bf about my family stuff.

My nephew is like close to his 30's and he's still alone living with his mom and she asked him the same question loll the guy is a die hard gamer I've known him since he was a baby and he was always in his room playing. How the hell can you get a GF that way. I guess it's what he likes although I do think he would like a GF but it's kinda awkward now for him

In the early 00s I asked a friend who was a dancer in a gentleman's club advice for getting the attention of women. Her answer was get a manicure. While the advice did pay off, a lot of people thought I was gay because of it including the lady who did my nails.

Asked my mom if manicures are required for men, she said no. Asked her why. "You're a guy. You don't need one."
