So I'm back on Youtube, what is up with all the blocking?

I haven't been back on youtube since i think 2009, after they removed groups, customztion, change the great old design to that one channel messed. Anyways, after trying zippcast ( which is a copy of the old youtube, but its dead and has serious server issues ), after being on dailymotion since 2005, but had to leave in early this year, because they are trying to copy youtube, by removing, groups, customztion, comments, yes they removed comments, and the design of the site is awful. and after trying rutube, which IMO has the best design, its very very sleek, high tech looking, but you gotta do alot of promotion on your site and views and be very patient, becasue its hard to get alot of views, if any. You can upload a video on rutube and 3 days later, nobody has click on it. sigh.

Anyways, So I'm back on youtube, my link is on my profile. So far so good, even though i don't like the layout, it is better than dailymotion lol. Its easy to use, but it did take me 2 days to figure out how to make a damn banner ( don't ask ). But anyways, what is up with the blocking of videos? I look on wiki, youtube is like banned from 10 counties lol.

Also on that note, i just tried to upload 2 small video clips from a game i play, its a live action clip from a german TV show, and it got blocked. It says its blockworldwide. They don't seem to block everything, because i uploaded a unreal engine demo with some custom music and it says its legal to do so. But , i hope coming back, they won't block everything. Because i plan to upload some very very important music videos, like a 9/11 memorial video soon, and a video for the country of pakistan malala yousafzai, and later this year i plan to upload a video for someone who worked for the associated pressed who i was with it, in germany. Anyways, nice to be back though :)

Normally Youtube wont block your videos exept if youre using some copyrighted music (try to mute the sound at those parts or cut them out if needed)
(Oh and if you steal Videos from other Youtubers they can also get your video blocked as that counts as copyright aswell but i guess that should be obvious)

On a side note:I really miss the old Youtube design back in 2008, im a lot less active since then

The correct response it reply to the notice, wait two weeks, and get approved for non payed work..

You can't use audio anymore in gameplay vids and they get flagged immediatly.

Well yea someone has to be a damn fool to steal people videos. Intersting, there are people on DM who do it, i reported them and they were banned lol.

Well ZIPPCast has that old look/design, but the main reason why i left Zippcast, they don't have their own video player and the HTML5 they supposely have don't function right. So your videos never appears in the search engine as a video player, nor can share them on FB, VK or anywhere else. So its hard to get views. But also, the site is run by people who don't want to grow. Anyways, I'mback on youtube, all good. Thanks, though. peace

Well i got permission from one singer i know as a friend, she said it was alright for me to use her music, just link back to her. Been doing that for a while. I'm going to upload alot of videos througout the week and see how things go. Hopefully they don't block everything, but i won't be uploading alot of stuff that can get me strikes or anything.

Yea your right but youtube never completly blocks videos with dialogue and even trailers are fine most of the times (i remember how many people reuploaded rockstars gta 5 trailer lol)

But i just was listing the things which usually lead to lock the video completly so that no one will be able to see it anymore.
In Germany (i think thats where OPs coming from) we have a little bit more annoying rules regarding uploads of music clips Heck we cant even see most music videos on their official channels and thats due to a organisation called GEMA.

Well about the germany thing, i wanted to upload some small clips like 2 mins from my favorite show, Alarm Fur Cobra 11. But its all blocked. Shame. Guess i will upload the game videos and gameplay videos install.

Well yeah i forgot to mention that TV Shows also have their copyright problems (thought that would be a obvious thing though because think about what happens if someone would upload a series like that an example "Alarm für Cobra 11 Episode 6 Part 1,2.3 and so on).

You should be fine with Gaming though atleast in most cases (sometimes the ingame radio can cause problems like in GTA 5 but more rarely)

Have you tried replacing the background music of the clip you wanted to upload ? sometimes this solves it pretty well.
Also just giving you an advice these days you will get much more views if you use your voice and talk instead of pure gameplay.

WOW youtube is kinda retarted. Unless you upload game videos all day, anything else they just block. or say its copyrighted or some crap. Might have to go back using dailymotion before the day is up and just deal with the crap design, because staying on youtube i need to upload more than just game videos and if they are going to block all germany content, and even simple music clips, no point for me to use it. lol

oh well. will figure out what i plan to do later.

YouTube won't block your videos unless it has copyrighted music (usually in that case they just mute your video), is some sort of a leaked video for example from an unreleased game or other wise has restricted content. Also if you are going to make a channel and try to earn views, use youtube, it's the best site to get them and nobody really uses anything else to watch videos other than it.
