Anyone remember Rampage?
Just wondering how many people remember playing Rampage back in the day. The game we're working on has been called the spiritual successor to it. Lots of fond memories of playing the original for me. Anyone else?

Yep. Love the game.

Actually really scared of the major film release coming out in a year of so.

But the game, great. Especially eating your friends.

That's about as far as self promotion will go in this discussion, though.

I had no idea they were making a movie of it. Is it actually based on the games? Gonna have to look in to that... A lot of what I'm hearing is that Total Destruction didn't do so hot. Any ideas on why?
yes i remember playing pong at the summit mall in akron ohio at around 1974.

i knew this one guy who when playing very conservitively, could play the guantlet 1 game all day on one american quarter ( $ 0.25).

I found out the game from my old PS2 Midway Arcade Treasure Collection II. One of the most played out of that collection. :')

That's how early 90's game became a nostalgic piece for guy born in 1995.
Holy cow. I played a lot of Gauntlet but could never do that. Our local Pizza King had a PacMan machine in their dining hall with chairs around it. Sank a lot of money in there. It was designed so you could use the machine as a table if you were eating and play before/after. Super cool stuff with those old machines.
Rampage was the ♥♥♥♥. Laying waste to cities as a giant monster. Good times.

And now I feel old, as I was playing the game back in 1986...

And Gauntlet all day on a quarter? That is one hell of a feat. I could do something similar playing pinball (Thanks Creature from the Black Lagoon pinball game) for a few hours on one play ($.50 U.S. usually.)
I own every single copy from the old ones on the NES to the newer ones on the N64. I even remember buying the Remake for Gamecube.
I remember that game, the developers are working on a new game called colossal Kaiju combat.
@WolfSpartan really now? :D Do you have a link handy?

It's on steam right now. It's not the same like destroying buildings, but you fight other monsters
Ah, so it's more of a fighter game. That's a serious letdown.
