Do Emos, Scenes, Goths, etc. Still exist in high schools (Britain)

Last time I've seen emo is in 2008, then they suddenly disappeared, like a dinosaurs.

You would be hard pressed to come across an Emo kids perhaps, who would just be dressed a little bit emo, skinny jeans, bracelets around his wrist, and acting that way to score some chicks. Sitting there shy, but flicking the hair and having a bunch of girls giggle and drool over him, saying how cute he is, etc. He knows what he is doing and why... it has nothing to do with actually being emo.

No one really cared or gave him a hard time either. Except for perhaps the girls, but that's what he wanted.

There is no candles, makeup, or dyed hair.

It's nothing like you see on the movies or heard about in 'murica.

Emo girls exist in Britain?

I thought that was more of an American thing. I just don't see that going well with those British accents.
