depends what school u are at. In my school, there are people who would probably be classed as an emo (me probably being included, but im probably in most groups xd) or goths but they dont really act like it in school. sure they may keep to themselves and stuff but they dont go around holding candles or wearing makeup and ♥♥♥♥

So basically they've been toned down since the start where they were wearing makeup and holding candles, etc.?
I meet a girl from a school that was full on goth. White eyes, black clothes, white makeup and that whole debacle. So i guess it's still a thing some people do.

at my school i guess it has, i dont think anyone really cares about that stuff anymore. apart from music tastes and peoples personalities its kinda the same for everyone. we have a uniform so people dont really get "judged" that way but maybe at schools without uniforms its different

Yeah, I guess that's why america's schools always get so much ♥♥♥♥ about emos and goths due to the no uniform thing, The farthest we can really do at my school is black skinny jeans and black hoodies over the uniform as i guess i could be clasified as emo or goth,

yep, I do have the long hair/ fringe thing going on most commonly in the emo subculture
There's a few here and there. Though, at my school, they were called Grebo's.

I've never actually spoke to a scene girl before (seen them about, but very rare), but there weren't any at my school. There weren't any full on Goths either. I think they just liked heavy metal and stuff. I was one of them once, though I still listen to metal now, but I don't dress with a leather jacket, a bit of facial hair and long hair anymore. My hair is now shoulder length and I have more facial hair and I wear hoodies and jeans (at least for now).

Still, they do exist. Somewhere. Someplace.

Over the rainbow! Way up high!
Do they still exist in British schools? Well as a Brit I can say it's hard to tell. Back when I was in school we had school uniform, and policy on hairstyles (Basically, nothings outragous, no swear words or anything cut into your hair) so I guess the only way of finding out to ask 'em.

At my school, we really never had this.

You would be hard pressed to come across an Emo kids perhaps, who would just be dressed a little bit emo, skinny jeans, bracelets around his wrist, and acting that way to score some chicks. Sitting there shy, but flicking the hair and having a bunch of girls giggle and drool over him, saying how cute he is, etc. He knows what he is doing and why... it has nothing to do with actually being emo.

No one really cared or gave him a hard time either. Except for perhaps the girls, but that's what he wanted.

There is no candles, makeup, or dyed hair.

It's nothing like you see on the movies or heard about in 'murica.
