I don't make a point of listening to it but dubstep is fine. Just like with any type of music, it needs to be done well. The only time it annoys me is when it's overdone in something and/or the dubstep is low effort rubbish.

Haha! True, but there was a time when dub step actually sounded like dub. I was on the verge of actually getting into the whole dub step thing when Skrillex and stuff like that commercialized it and you heard it in like 90% of commercials and movie trailers.

BTW I dare anyone that thinks dubstep is just the push of a button to try and slap a beat in 10 minutes. See what you get. This is a greatly uninformed "myth"

Dubstep is how I discovered I was getting old.

I have quite an eclectic taste in music, so when dubstep appeared it was quite a shock when I found I didn't "get it".
