I highly doubt there will be a Portal 3. The story is over. It's done. Nowhere left to go. Everything was wrapped up. In fact, because of that, I don't even want a Portal 3. It always sucks when something continues past when it needed to end.

Jesus. A thread AGAIN complaining about no 3rd sequels to games that were abandoned (HL), or games that don't need a third (POrtal, TF, and LFD)

Oh man, I can't wait to hear this threads reasons why, after Valve gave you the middle finger on one series, one series never needed a third, One ENDed and never needs a third, and the last was designed to make mone and not need a third, which obviously needs a third.

I can't see a way Portal 3 could fit into the story. Glados (spoiler) doesn't want you back and Wheatley doesn't have control over the facility. Where could it take place and still be original?

Half-Life 3 has been confirmed to NOT utilize VR. The wording of the question and answer left the actual existence of the game in doubt, though.
