Where I live good fresh fish is very inexpensive.
Also, where I live the nearest fast food is 50 miles away, so geography helps.

From what I heard too many fish isn't good either, because of the mercury poisoning.

Cured preserved meat would of used to of been considered the "junk food" of the pre-industrial society, it however being considerably less offensive than the modern poison we have today, cured meat was more necessary in the diet as the food needed to be preserved for longer travels or long periods of extreme weather.

Not all bacon is processed meat, and not all "cured ham" is any less processed than your processed bacon.

You should really do some better research.

Well actually dude here kinda has a point. Dont get me wrong i like sliced honey ham more than sex sometimes. But a lot of the world thinks of pork as wrong because, pigs will eat anything including themselves.

I like ham a lot (esp., honeybaked ham), but I love bacon far, far more. I certainly ain't going a week without plenty of BLT (Bacon, Lots o' Bacon, Tons o' Bacon). Fattier and greasier, the better.
