Well, technically human hair is used in certain things. Like in forensics, crime scene analysis, and in the occult as per the law of sympathy. You'll have more luck finding people that use human skin to actually produce products though. You can, depending on your locale, buy wallets and clothing made from the stuff. Granted, human leather is, much like the consumption of longpig, illegal in most jurisdictions or at the very least frowned upon, and usually it's considered a luxury that only the wealthiest of clients can afford. But, there are people who work with the stuff and make a profit on it.

We do, they're called wigs. I had a chick come up to me in a bank while I was in line and offered me 1200 dollars for my hair, which of course I took. They made 3 wigs out of it.

Y'know, I don't know how I overlooked that. Considering that cancer charities are often involved in making wigs out of donated human hair, and considering you got paid to give your hair, you're right.

IIRC, after major oil spills it was suggested barriers of human hair could be used to contain or absorb it. They had to ask people to stop offering to donate theirs.

edit. That was years ago around the Deepwater Horizon affair.
I see it's being done in 2020 after a Japanese tanker tore itself on a coral reef in the Indian Ocean last summer.
