Favorite Wave Survival Shooters?

Hi all! I'm looking for wave defense/wave survival coop FPS/3PS games. I'm looking to scratch the itch from Halo Firefight among other games. Bonus points if it's scifi and/or controller supported. Not any zombie games plz. VS games are fine if they have good wave survival coop.

I really tried to like Orion Prelude, but the menus are really janky and lots of bits are broken or bad. I really like Sanctum 2, but it is more of a Tower Defense, and I've played it quite a bit already. I have Borderlands 2 already and am still playing it (but it's not a wave defense...)

Payday 2.. I don't know it's really a "survival game", but it has enemy waves (assaults), many many cops :D. it's really fun and coop (4 players).

Too bad it has now microtransactions, but still a very good game.

Payday gameplay looks super fun. It's too bad it's about bank robbers. :/

Oh ok.. It makes fun for me, that is important.. it's just a pc game.. hero or robber, it doesn't make a difference in such coop shooter games, it's about aim and speed, working as team and having fun.
It has a demo, but it seems the demo is pretty outdated..

But maybe you get other games suggestions :) I know only L4D2, but it has Zombies..

TF2 has MvM, which I guess is a wave type of thing. Splinter Cell: Blacklist also has something like that, as well as co-op stuff in general, but I'm not sure how many people still play that game.
