How do keys and crates work?
Can someone please explain to me how they work, or how they relate to each other? I have no frickign idea here

You will get crates by playing specific games (TF2 and CS:GO) and you can buy a key for £1.69 to "unlock" it which will give you one of the items that are part of the case/crate. It's not worth it since you normally get a £0.11 item about 75% of the time

alright, so I get a case in CS just for playing the game and doing good. But buying a key just gives me a crate to unlock then basically, with better stuff?

No, you don't get a free crate with a key; you still need to buy one from the market OR get one in a random drop.

alright, I thing I get it. So I play counterstrike, and I get a random crate. Then in order to open that crate, I need to purchase a key to do so. Am I right?

Yes - If you want to get the gun skin you want then buy it through the market as you'll most likely get a worthless skin:

red, first roll. hehehe but yeah, was unaware you had to buy keys to cases you got. I'm slightly debating getting this game now.
