Look up how a keyboard matrix works.
Oh and for the thread: no - membrane keyboards are also good for gaming. It´s a question of personal preference. Both have pros and cons.
So could you cite your source?
Marketing feature for the most part in keyboards and mice.
Using an analog signal for just the switch to controller, but at the end of the day it will only be on/off, which is digital.
There are few true analog keyboards (which functions like a controller joystick on every keypress), but the signal, from controller to computer is still digital.
The only analog port I know of on a computer is 3.5mm audio Jack.
Analog switches don't need debounce delay.
It's not 'the fastest keyboard', that would be Razers huntsman with (real) analog optical switches.
Debounce cuts signal on button push to prevent jitters and misclicks.
Because it's metal, it will vibrate and spring around, sometimes activating 2, 3, or more times.
So it waits (x ms) for the metal to seat properly before registering.
Almost all keyboards and mice do it.
But yeah, it does add latency, but it doesn't really effect anyone.
Just like every other decent keyboard.
N-key rollover is nothing special.
It's marketed toward gamers, not typists.
Yes, so is yours.
Nah, it's not even close. Uses the same gimmick as my mouse.
Unless my mouse is full analog too lmaoooo.
I usually just use the rice trick with those salt shakers. ;o)
