Yes, I know. I posted in the thread to discuss the topic, not to indulge fishing trips. If you want to say something you can always just say it.
I think I already included that further down in the very same post you just quoted. :/
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/weekly-standard/behind-the-curious-case-of-uscs-star-crossed-student-athletes
Also, I would suggest not trying to convince someone who makes baseless accusations, because they don't believe in "paying attention" to what gets posted, that baseless accusations don't happen - because that's irresponsible.
I was going to leave this entire exchange alone until this was said.
What you attempted to explain was pretty terribly conveyed and didn't make a whole lot of sense as multiple other people have pointed out now.
I dont know why you posted the other post then wanted to double down after saying it didnt matter now to attempt to leave on the new post that I quoted.
Sure it is (not). It's not like I was THERE for that topic ...or REMEMBER it.
( I -WAS- an active participant in that topic, on a public forum & I remember it quite well.)
No, people should be if they say things that are very messed up while holding a position like that.
This was always a thing even before social media became the giant it is today.
And no, that is not what you conveyed lol. You had a very convoluted example.
I literally thought you were talking about the gang "Bloods", a very more well known group in the world but the rest of what you were saying didn't fit so it just became a jumble.
The reality is you are ALWAYS held accountable for the things you say.
Social media created a wall to shield you and people found a way to get over that wall.
You are never free to just speak your mind without consequences.
If you went into a certain culture and said something offensive, odds are you are going to not get off the hook easily.
I dont know how something that has been a thing as far back as the early 1900s is magically now suppose to just be rampant with no repercussions.
