Weird Question...(Posture while gaming)
I was wondering this as I find mine changing throughout the course of a playing session. I am especially interested in what some highly competitive gamers think.
Anyway, how do you sit when you play games? Do you have good posture? Do you lean in towards the screen a bit? Completely hunch over your keyboard? Or are yoy relaxed with your back against the back of your chair the entire time. Do you think you perform better sitting a certain way?

my posture is completely horrible while gaming which usually leads to me not playing anymore because i'm in pain. maybe one day i'll get it together.
I need to find a way to work on my posture, it's leading to my neck arching forward when I stand straight.
When I try to sit up straight, I slowly naturally sink into a really pronounced slouch over time, and it happens so slowly I don't notice until I get pained or adjust after a few hours of playing.
Get a kneeling chair.

Make yourself as comfortable as possible, while having all the freedom of movement you need for your hands/arms. I switched to a trackball so I wouldn't have to move my right arm as much (if at all). It allows me to rest on my right arm, making me more comfortable for longer periods of time.
Agreed. I've gotten fragged many times unnecessarily on MW3 because I ran out of mouse room.
Just get a mouse with high dps, i dont have to move my hand more then a centimeter or two in any direction to get from one side of the screen to another in most games.

I prefer very low dpi, around 600 on the lowest setting. Anything over 800 is just too sensitive for my style of play. So I sacrifice by requiring a larger mousing area.

Thats why most gaming mice have a button that allows you to switch DPI instantly, when i need to aim at something in the distance i press my DPI button and get to aim very carefully with instense accuracy.I switch it back to the high DPI mode i am accustomed to when i dont need it, i never even come close to moving off of my mouse pad.
I have a corsair M60 which has 3 settings. They are set at 600 900 1200

But you still dont use the high dps settings?
No never. It also has a sniper button which I do not use because I use only one class.
