HuniePop and Sakura games

I know I might be tapping onto a controversial topic, but why the hell are HuniePop and all the Sakura games available on steam?
Take HuniePop for example. That game is a striptease bejeweled rip-off, and the strippers are adolescents or underaged girls with faked, triple H breasts.
Isn't that basically child pornography? I know it's fictional and nobody is being forced or anything, but the entire game is based around a happy enviroment, which is literally like making fun of child pornography. You just don't do that. And if you enjoy that type of thing you might have a problem.

Markiplier himself fell victim to HuniePop and inflicted a tremendous decrease in subscribers and increase in dislikes because he stated he "likes playing" HuniePop as he does on his channel. At this point it is a #16 part series.
I don't think any of us want a Sam Pepper incident, right? So why aren't more people calling him out on it? Because they're falsely informed and think these games are completely okay.

Please don't respond in a stupid, unjust manner, because this is a serious topic.

Regardless, I stand by my point that pedophilia isn't triggered by 2D cartoon characters. Playing an anime-style game doesn't make a person want to run to a school and ogle elementary schoolers.

Also, all anime characters look young - they always have. Even anime characters from shows in the 80's look young. It's just the style of it. It's nothing new.

Again, no they don't. That is even one of the defenses the devs use for their games. They don't offer a real experience, they offer a cartoonish, movie type reality for their games, and are not REAL life simulators. Argue that point with the Devs legal teams if you like. And even saying that, have you played a Saints Row game?

Remember the Elder Scrolls V mod that brought children back into the game, and you could beat them up and kill them?
Well, when paired with the sex mod you could have sex with these kids, which sparked a sh!tstorm, and the mod got removed and then reuploaded as something else.

Your arguments make zero sense. Running a monopoly on illegal sh!t is not "meeting the Steam requirements" for being sold on the site. If anything, somebody should file a law suit against Valve for letting this happen, the game didn't even go through Greenlight for some reason.

No illegal "♥♥♥♥" is occurring. It didn't go through greenlight because a real Dev put it on STEAM. To think YOU know better than the paid people at Valve and the ESRB about how and why a game is released as it is, is just the pinnacle of half-wittery. And plays into your dislike of the genre of games you are complaining about, your rather prudish concepts of what games deliver to various users, and an arrogance that you can dictate what is and is not acceptable in peoples enjoyment.

Not many people have made any petty insults but you did once or twice. Personally I don't see why people need to be so offended over what people do in their own spare time by themselves. In the Markiplier case it's there fault if they got angry at him liking or playing the game, especially among those who knew what they were getting into anyway.

It's always great how people make these kinds of threads, and then when people don't agree with them they just give up because they can't think of a counter-argument.

Dude, you are the person being uncivil and derisive here. Do not use strawman arguments implying that I enjoy those games or support pedophilia. Everyone in Huniepop is of College age or older. Two of the characters are in their 30-40s, one is an alien, and two are mythical beings.

You haven't taken down any arguments, you just cry that you can't win a discussion on things you want to argue about.

Secondly, this is a forum. You post on forums. You made a thread, which gets opinions from everyone. The purpose of a thread isn't to have a one-on-one chat with somebody.

And why are you being so rude? Everyone here has been mostly polite and bringing up arguments. All good discussions have arguing for and against, and you're throwing a tantrum because not everyone agrees with you.
