Tattoos - pro et contra

Personally, I think body ink is mostly out of place on most people, however, there are examples where they are essentially art.

I prefer to keep a tattoo-less body myself, but if I did get one it would have to be something meaningful, something I may hold close or identify with.

So for me, if I did tattoo something on myself, it would maybe be some Chaos star or some raven wings or Death's head (no, not *that* one) or some such, but I'm not in a hurry and it would be a more personal affair, not something I would like to showcase to just *everyone*.

Random tattoos without any consistency don't look good at all, but as I said, there are examples where the tattoos become an art.

Non permanent tattoos are a thing. Stick to those people. They can look great and you aren't stuck with them for life. PS: I get that tattoos can be removed but it is bloody expensive and there is scarring.

I really like them, I've got a few myself and have 3 more planned.

Only one's I tend to dislike are the generic choices, things like stars for instance.

I have a few random tattoos and some with meaning... they look nice and I get compliments all the time. There is a thing tattoo artists say "tatted with junk" just a load of cringe worthy tattoos all over the place that are poorly tatted. That is cringe IMO and especially the ones that trailer park trash people get and the tattoos prison inmates get are just soooo ungodly bad.

i love them tbh.
tattooing is a very ancient art form, many many cultures around the globe did it and keep doing it for their own respective reasons (buddhist tattoos are my favorites)
i got a couple but they're of medium quality with high personal symbolism (personal designs also)
but of course, to each their own.

They're ugly as hell, the equivalent of drawing on the walls as a kid but for adults, I can't take tattooed people seriously if they have them in their face or other easily noticeable parts of their body. Feels like I'm talking to a clown.

The bad thing about tattoos - as art - is that they will bleach over time - and get a bit blurry. They look good for a few years though and depending on the color and design for longer.
