I'll buy it and play it. Just gonna finish Final Fantasy III Pixel Remaster (playing it as we speak/type).
Final Fantasy 3 feels so much more polished than 1 and 2.
Almost like a Super Nintendo game.
Playing as these characters in the following initiative order:
1st - Ace (White Mage)
2nd- Orko (Black Mage)
3rd - Mellon (Warrior)
4th - Fyrax (Monk)
Having fun. ;)
Isn't Star Tropics considered a better rpg than Willow. Or even, Wizards & Warriors?
Willow seems tepid.
Star Tropics is good, but very much a "Action-Adventure Game". A bit simplistic combat system. You are very limited to what you can do.
I have not played Star Tropics 2. So I can't say anything about the sequel though.
Wizard & Warriors is not epic enough. I don't know man. Personal preferences and all that..
Willow has the scale and tight gameplay going for it. Good music too!
I consider it the best mainstream rpg on the console.
..But then again there are The Bard's Tale, Mother and Ultima etc.
Coming to think of it, the Nes has a really good rpg library.
D&D games too if I remember correctly.
The Nes was a pretty hardcore console for its time.
That said I would love a Remaster or Remakes of the two Star Tropics games !
