GTA 3, Vice City & San Andreas remastered in development

I been wanting Red Dead Redemption remake and then i see this news. https://twitter.com/Nibellion/status/1425883328314544128?s=19. Why can't they remake that first and this GTA. :(

Has much i like to play those games again some of the missions in Vice City and especially San Andreas give me nightmare.

I wonder if they will remaster this games on PC as well Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories & Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. It would be nice. GTA 1 & 2 would be great as well.

Bout freaking time. I'd drop sixty bucks on a remastered trilogy. GTA III with actual physics, Vice City with swimming, San Andreas with functioning AI ... been dreaming of this.

Might be nice to finally get that Vice City Stories PC port too.

But I'm just waiting for Rockstar to screw something up and add shark cards, or rip out half of Vice City's soundtrack for licensing issues. They always find a way to botch perfection.

Since it's made in Unreal Engine. It might be easier for modders to make Hot Coffee 2.

I have not played GTA 3, VC or SA before so I am interested to see remasters of these with controller support and achievements.

Great games, GTA 3 looks almost dead due to limitations back then.

Curious if they are going to revoice the games. Lot of expensive talent in those games. And wondering about the radio stations, since they would need to relicense that music for a remake/remaster.

They lost it on a couple games, like SA.

i think that's cool, but only if the remasters are community projects. if rockstar is working on remastering them, i think they should stop n just completely focus on making GTA 6

but then again maybe rockstar has 2 whole seperate teams working on the remasters and working on making gta 6. i dunno

That's great and all but now I ask, why didn't they make gta 4 for the ps4? That's something that always bothered me, it's also the only one I haven't played yet.

With remasters, the developers tend to just slap a fresh coat of paint onto the original product and sell it for the price of a brand new game.

True. What's a remaster? HD textures, controller support and modern hardware / resolutions. Should be a free upgrade like KotOR 2.
