A little known secret among us male gamers is the delicate issue of depositing liquids while competing in intense multi-player competitive online matches.

Some use empty bottles. Some go AFK (away from keyboard) and some use a bucket.


How do you handle it ?

AFK , no games are important enough to prevent me for doing the importants duties in a comfortable way.

I'm just game in the bathtub, so I can deposit liquids as much as I want and then just wash it off. Also helps when eating and drinking while gaming, since you can just wash of any breadcrums on the keyboard without ever leaving the game. And if the laptop is running hot, you can just submerge it and game under water.

Does this imply that only male gamers need to pee, and female gamers do not pee? Or that they simply piss themselves?

Moreover, who is actually pissing in buckets or bottles because they don't want to go AFK? Do people like that actually exist (besides maybe the most addicted players)? I thought that was just a joke.

I run outside while wearing my wireless headset, pee on a pile of decaying organic matter (dead plants ect) then run back.. (The aim is to eventually end up with a good potassium nitrate fertiliser for my garden)

Always go before you start a raid. Nobody wants to have to wait for you to do your thing and come back. Even worse to hear it live over voicechat.
Secondly, don't pee in bottles as then you've just updated to a game of chance if you should suddenly get thirsty and you reach randomly for a drink and get something else.

AFK sometimes, I find a place to either hide my character...

Or I grab one of my kids to play for me until I get back which works better because they are better at the games anyway.

I'm not male so if I'm not too distracted by the game to notice, I find a safe spot to AFK and go use the toilet.
If not that's what the towel is for.
