Literally every other person my age I see driving is holding their phone and looking at it. I often play games all day when I'm at home, but when I do other stuff, then I do other stuff, I'm not an obsessed freak. They're all incapable of sitting through just one movie without having to constantly check their phone for whatever stupid crap. Mine is completely muted 24/7 except for calls since that could be important. They have a need to post the hamburger they ordered at McDonald's (wow, so interesting and unique, truly worth seeing) on social media and everything else they do every day.

When my cousin came over and we were playing a game on PC together, he just had to pause it, pull out his phone, open Snapchat, take a photo and send it to like 20 of his "friends" because it seems like the concept of doing something for yourself and not just for others to see and actually having fun is not a thing anymore.

Where is the problem with using the phone? When i am out with friends we sometimes look memes on phone and we have a good time
We also play Clash Royale or a hockey game together, very fun games and then go play basket

My phone is a tool and I charge it just once a week.

Yeah about the movie thing you mention, nothing rly exclusive to this gen

My parents always told me that everytime they went to the cinema on their times there was always people talking or even ppl kissing each other lmao
Sure they didnt have phones ,but they were still distracted doing something else instead of actually watching the movie

No, I'm pretty sure people in the 20th century wouldn't constantly scroll and type on their phones while driving...

I'm at home and on PC right now, not behind the wheel.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with phones, they're amazing tools and I have one too, I got Alien: Isolation, DOOM and DOOM II on it for when I'm away from home, like in a hotel for example.

Those people are not my friends, it's how literally everyone my age is.

The new generation have had things too easy and are weak. The worst thing most of them can imagine is being offended about something. They are more educated then ever and dumber than ever at the same time. Social media has made them think they are important and turned them all narcissistic.
