What do you mean by "okay"?

Are you Sikh or some other religion that has strict determinations on the cutting of hair or shaving?
Do you live in a nation where there are state legislations on appearance and grooming? (such as frequent hair cuts for men in North Korea)
Do you suffer from rare illness that may result in complications if hair follicles and/or surrounding dermal tissue is stressed in some way, or cancerous potentials as cutaneous follicle center lymphomae.

Otherwise, then there's no reason why shaving armpits should be a problem. Millions of women do so daily.

As a guy...i've tried it once, because i sweat a lot. Lol. Well, long story short. The hair grew baack and it hurt like hell (just like shaving the pubes first time) . TBH i see no shame in it. Go for it m8 :D

Shave off one eyebrow, then wait for it to grow back. Compare it against the original. You will find it just grows back even more, starts off pricky and annoying, then comes back twice as bushy. The issue is skin irritation.

Can't say I've ever needed to shave them yet... however a friend shaved his eyebrow as a school camp dare, ended up having to do both just to try even it back out.

So either leave it alone, just trim if it's getting crazy, or if you do decide to shave it bare... do so every 3 days from that point on in life.

I'm a hairy chap, so I cut back my armpit hair, but never shave it.

This works. Leave just enough that you don't have to worry with the stubble itch.

Same here. It is all about personal hygene. I prefer it beause it is more comfortable that way. I will usually go with an electric razor set to zero or one and get everything once while I am at it.

I shave mine precisely for that reason..why shouldn't it be okay? Its just hair, you aren't going to die.

Yeah, i do the same. Usually i start with the razor, and then shave the rest. Or just use the razor when i am feeling lazy, but either way, i am keeping it short.
