Keep computer connected to wifi while locked?

I know this isn't a good place to look but its the easiest thing for me to be able to see notifications of answers and I'm too lazy to constanly check some website. So, I'm running windows 10 and I want to stay connected to the internet for if I'm running servers or anything but the problem is I can't leave my pc alone without a password to keep it safe because I live with other people. Any help?

If your user account has a password, just press the Windows Key and the L key to lock your computer. WiFi should stay connected.
Just make sure you disable the guest account and secondary logon.

I've never locked my computer any other way... I thought that did disconnect from wifi.

Step one of project "♥♥♥♥ Barracuda Web Filter" complete. Step 2: I made a server with phproxy, now what is the url to access it from school on a different computer because localhost sounds like it wouldn't would anywhere else but idk I'm new to this.
