Question about using skyrim music for my video...
So I am making a video for school and I am debating If I should use skyrim music or not (Dragonborn) and I give full credit but would I still get a copyright strike?

Yeah
You'll more than likely get flagged with a copyright notice. If it is for school, just make and bring in a digital copy. Posting it to youtube isn't a necessary.

If you don't use Dragonborn, there's plenty of bad ass classical music around for cheap/free, and almost all of it is public domain. "Messa Da Requiem: Dies Irae" immediately comes to mind.

I have searched the web and have found nothing royalty free that sounds like dragonborn...but I'm asking If I do use dragonborn will I get a copyright strike from youtube?

Is there any other way to give my teacher the vid online? And It's going to be unlisted too...since I don't want everyone looking at my project lol

Copyright, ownership.

I don't think you're even allowed to upload it if you haven't received formal permission from the original designer/publisher.

Is there a lawyer in the room???

I've been pounding this dilemma for days now, myself. You can't really upload anything if it isn't you own work. Just think about it. It's just feels wrong somehow.
I would give credit...full credit...does that make a difference? It's like I'm citing It

See this. Post video and see if you get a strike, which I doubt you will, but if you are sharing a video you can AVOID THE WHOLE QUESTION by simple taking my simple suggestion. So sightly more work is the only issue. And maybe 4 dollars us for a thumb drive.
