What are your unpopular gaming opinions?

Pretty much what title says. Got to thinking about some of my unpopular opinions on certain games and I figure to make a thread about it.
I'll start it off

-Half Life franchise is not that good and mediocre really
-Witcher 2 was not a good game
- Other than fps and rts, gamepad > keyboard and mouse
- I hate this new fad of using retro graphics in games
- Most indie games are trash (obviously with a few exceptions)

Most game reviewers are bad though. Uneducated, poor writers without any background in technology, English, or the visual arts.

But yeah, I agree with youtube reviewers, I guess. I don't really watch any.

By "YouTube reviews" do you mean any review that is on YouTube or do you mean reviews done by some random guy making videos on his channel for fun? Because Super Bunnyhop's reviews videos are always really good.

MMOs are the most boring genre of games
I like bioshock 2 better than bioshock 1
I don't like the female/male body mods on skyrim
I actually don't really like borderlands 2 for some reason
I also don't really like fallout 3 for some reason
skyrim isnt a good game without mods
MGS would be harder than most think to make into a book

Actually on many gaming sites those reviewers have some kind of degree in journalism.

Pretty much most reviews I have seen on Youtube are trash. No I haven't seen every reviewer though so I cna't say that is 100% of Youtube reviewers.

Can you give some examples?

Hard to remember some of these names. I saw an awful one the other day but I don't think he was anyone big. I liked the first review I saw from Angry Joe....he seemed sincere and honest....then as time went on I saw through his crap. He is just another person who gains views by pretty much rating games a point lower than professional reviewers...so he is a spokesman for haters of video game media, basically. Or just an extremist who is riding off of controversial opinions and telling professionally offended gamers what they want to hear.

I think another one was....Yahtzee? I am not too sure so don't hold it against me. This guy was an annoying ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ whos content barely even resembled a review.

Total Biscuit also gets on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nerves not because he is annoying (thank you for that TB) but because he is just an extremist that is basically of the opinion that everyone should ♥♥♥♥ on the gaming industry at all times. Creating a massive following of professionally offended toxic zombies that flip the ♥♥♥♥ out at every opportunity they can possibly use as an excuse.

Maybe it is just what I have seen...but I am not so sure.

I think Valve should maintain it's current theme of not releasing games with the number 3.

I really don't think the Smash Bro. games are very fun (Mario Kart is a blast however.)

I think consoles and PCs offer different but comparable gaming experiences, and enjoy them as such.

Uncharted is overrated. Not bad, just not nearly as good as everyone seems to want it to be.

60 fps is great and all, but I don't really see the need to do so unless I am recording or as a first experience for a game I think is visually impressive.

I like achievements, and collecting them, but I do not feel the opposite need to 100% a game with them. I play the fun ones, the really weird ones, and the ones that are short but test my skill. As an example, I would never do 'Mile High Club' ever again. But the Fable 2 'Chicken Kicker'? Yea, I have 15 minutes for that.

I think people take DLC too hard. For companies that make DLC a requirement to make the game playable and fun, those are bad. Companies that sell optional weapon, mission, or skin packs, especially in co-op games, I don't care what the next person has as long as we are all having fun. And it is on the person buying it, not on others to judge.

I think that as long as you enjoy it, every game type is great for you to enjoy. Except for that pidgin dating game. Shame on you.

I think the 360 controller is great for PC gaming.

80% of all First Person shooters, 99.42365346% of all Youtube "Gamers", Angry Video Game Nerd: He promotes bad games and more people play them telling the Big Bad Wolf Corporations that they love playing bad games and they'll release more bad ♥♥♥♥, EA's shut-down and previous abuse of most of the Maxis teams, and the list can be a-lot longer. BUT THE THING IS, THESE AREN'T EVEN CLOSE TO FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS!

I think Metroid: other M is a great game.

And I don't understand why people think it's ok to judge a game by what it isn't, instead of what it is.
(See: other M, modern Resident evil games, and the Devil may Cry Reboot).

I tend to like Joe myself. He has quite the history in gaming journalism, when he dislikes a game, he really lets it have it, and when he loves a game he will gush all over it, and then rip into the bad stuff. I usually find his opinions on games fairly close to mine.

Plus, he does put a lot more work into a review than the average reviewer. But that is just me.

As for Yahtzee, he I watch just for entertainment. I would never dream of buying or not buying a game because of him. Although I do agree with him that Silent Hill 2 is the best survival horror game ever.

Come to think of it. I don't use any video reviewers opinion to shape my gaming decisions. Huh.
