Half-Life - Hard Technology Rock Background Vocals?

This is a totally pointless topic that has nothing to do with the game at hand so you should only be here if you care about the music in HL as much as I do. Read on if you dare, I guess?

So recently I've been blasting the HL OST on my headphones while doing schoolwork because it's so ♥♥♥♥ING GOOD, but while listening to Hard Technology Rock (Track 17), I noticed that there where some background vocals about 30 seconds in. It's a lady doing some...sort of noise-singing, like how the end credits have. I don't know why I didn't notice the vocals when I was playing through the part of the game with that song...maybe cuz you can fire a tank at that part, but whatever, I like discovering things and feel good about people thinking it's cool or some ♥♥♥♥, so thanks for reading this far.

Actually, I once read a comment on YouTube saying that the background vocals are just some random electronic sounds which happen to sound like a female voice, and that this had actually been confirmed by Valve's sound artist who worked on the soundtrack at that time.
