Tab disappears in chrome after typing in a url, Virus?!
[/url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuP29K-6uog went on the site, Got curious and typed in emokids com (Don't use the url as i do not know what could be there) in the url bar, Probably a bad move, The tab disappeared immediately in now i 'm scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of whether i've got a virus from the site, Help please

Okay, Do you think that the tab disappearing could be anything else or definitely a virus? and would a system restore back a few days work?

it's a redirect on the host side.

It's an adult website containing porn...

The topic owner and you already know this and are bypassing the URL steam filter on purpose by placing spaces in the URL.

Hmm. Just checked it with Chrome, and all my AV stayed quiet. Run your AV and maybe malwarebytes, check and see if any new tool bars or apps were installed to Chrome, and stop visiting those adult dating sites. Your PC is fine. Chrome probably just derped...
One, I am kind of paranoid when it comes to virus' and stuff and two, I onlylooked up emokids. com out of curiosity after watching the video on scenekids .com and seeing what it could have in comedic value, i was in no way looking for adult material but maybe i'm just stupid for typing in a direct url instead of googling it

I'm a security expert (there's no virus). Also, I know it's a loaded "trolling" question... You're not actually seeking for help, merely bypassing steam rules in a round about way.
