How do you cite a video game?

MLA citation is straightforward and follows a very typical typical format but no standards are designed for abstract works. The usual application is to substitute the title of the videogame, publisher and release/publication date.
Note, that Author depends on the circumstance. Is it a scripted line, in which case the script writer or responsible department lead (Story Director etc.).

For these reasons, it is best top cite documents where possible (i.e. original script texts etc.), rather than the product as a whole.
