I don't have a phone lmao, I'd say rn the most appealing phone, especially android is a moto maybe a dumbphone if ur up to that although all of them are closed (afaik). Moto g play gen 3 looks nice, probably should wait until next year though.

Can't name the brands of the top of my head but there are like two brands that sell phone that you can easily put Linux onto, if u want those are options.
