speaking english is my big problem
***i dont know why dont you read last part. i dont need anymore. i dont fix text for this. ty ty

hi. i am a chronic nerd and i try to get a life but it is quite hard. i started university and education language is english. i learned english while playing games, it can be also a reason for my odd english. our english teacher is from a part of england and he is old. so understanding him almost impossible. i cant even understand is he really trying to speak or trying to swallop something. i am a turk and english is opposite of turkish. also i am a woman and our toxic community hates women, so i always prefered to stay silence. i am sure they will bring more problems if i ask them for helping me for speaking. your community looks more normal than ours. so for this i wanted to ask here. i must speak english for my presentations but i cant. because i really dont know how to speak this language. learning language websites are full of bots or trolls. they dont even know english but try to teach english. i paid money to busuu for 2 years for english but when i saw japanese started learning it. so i still cant speak english. chatgpt looks like its lost its mind. so teachers understand when we finish our assigments with chatgpt. this year i completely understand i have to speak. sadly always hard core believers find me and they try to save my soul but they just run away when i start washing their brains. also others call themselves like normals but for me normal people are so odd. nerds are better. so i need someone for fixing my speaking. i think learning mongolian and japanese made my speaking english worse than ever. our topics are usually about western culture and buildings but i never interested with them. i am sure you can finish my assigments without having any problem. but please dont think like i will finish her assigments while she is playing games. not really like this. my main mission is speaking english. but it can be also wonderful if you can fix my assigment mistakes. and if you can teach me english i can teach you autocad, revit, 3ds max (this is very populer for nerds), sketchup or any adobe programs. anyway thanks for reading. and if you decided to help me for speaking thank you very much.

*could not read all comments. i have to sleep. ty for writings. i will read tomorrow or at weekends. shortly i need someone to fix my homeworks and my pronanciation. pls
**i got one ty

My eyes burn heavily looking at this, and I'm not sure what your question is. o.o

You're looking for an English speaking pen pal to help teach you the language? This is a gaming forum, and a lot of people here barely speak English well enough to help you with this.

Read Harry Potter in English. JK Rowling has a good flow with words.

For writing in English I write in a very break it down kind of way online.

Without changing your words I made paragraphs with the focus on the current point you were making for each one.
Trust me on reading Harry Potter for a better grasp of the language.

theres a green owl that threatens you when you dont practice your languages. and its free. duolingo.

i respect your ability to push into university despite not having a firm grasp of its language. there are free learning programs available, and cheaper applications to purchase that will bring you to a university grade reading and speaking level.

i dont know any turkish so i cant really be helpful to you i dont think. i only know french and german.

turkish is much closer to japanese than it is to english. not difficult for them to learn japanese, the flow is pretty easy.

Please use capital letters at the beginning of each sequence, and also use paragraphs and empty line between paragraphs. The "wall of text" style of yours (no offence intended) is seen worse than just a wrong grammar/spelling of somebody else.

Honestly? Just find some English language content or media you enjoy, and stick at it. For lessons, just try and find an angle to enjoy about the subject. That's usually good enough for most people, don't worry too much about it. You're not alone in finding it a challenge.

For speaking, absent of every other tip everyone will give you - just try speaking. Just record yourself and listen to yourself back. Sometimes it helps to come up with someone you wouldn't mind sounding like (preferably someone who sounds nice to other people too) and just try and mimic their accent and the flow they speak with.

You can also ask your teacher what part of England he's from and, I suppose, study the accent there. If nothing else, it's good conversation practice.

I can't help you outside of that because I am an extremely busy horse, but I wish you luck and I hope there's a tiny bit of wisdom in anything I just typed that might help you.

i actually somehow have 5 turkish friends, 2 of them are fluent in japanese. they're trying to interest me in turkish language, but thats a pretty far jump, even for me.

anyways, just keep trying man, if you want it bad enough you'll get it. i wish you good luck, i dont think theres a chance for me and japanese in this lifetime lol. i will stick to my nordic and norse root languages instead, or i will master nothing =p

Rosetta Stone has a pretty good Japanese course. IDK how it is nowadays, I used it long before they went to subscription service. They were very good with teaching not only the language but proper pronunciation.

Howdy, I feel you completely, long ago I was just like you, trying to learn english and not really interested on how some websites or other means of education dealt with teaching stuff... I made a friend the same way, a Polish guy, we've been friends since then. Well, I don't really need any help with Autocad or these other software, but I am interested in helping you, send me a message here or on discord (siqueira111) if you're still interested.

Grammar sometimes makes more sense when you can contextualise it, by referring to spoken English. It is a good tool to learn grammar from.

Sometimes some people need to start their learning with Spoken English.

Not everyone learns the same way, and there is also Internet, "English" which can confuse things further.

So sometimes there are short, free youtubes with simple examples of English that you could watch, pause, mimic, and re-watch.

Try to search for short lectures on topics you are studying or need to do presentations on. That way the topic is familiar, and relevant.

But as other people have said, nothing will replace actual conversation with a patient English-Speaker so try the ideas other people have suggested :okey:
