It's kinda sad but also quite impressive that the original Doom has a dramatically larger multiplayer scene than the 2016 one.
I'd personally have to say that DOOM 2016 has better multiplayer compared to DOOM Eternals multiplayer which is this awkward new 1 demon slayer vs two demons and it's kinda dumb imo they should have added TDM to DOOM Eternal. I also grinded and unlocked everything in DOOM 2016 those were good times.
If TF2 is too serious business for you to handle then I don't think you're gonna have a lot of luck in other games. It's okay if competitive shooters aren't your life's calling. Try playing on game modes or maps that leverage your strengths and weaknesses, things like Rockets Only or GunGame for example.
