How to clean a letterman jacket
I've had a black and white letterman emrbroidered jacket and over the course of year the woolen sleeves went darker and darker because of the dirt, i always left the jacket on a hang away from sunlight, the material should be polycotton twill but its probably the same as wool, the issue is that the white parts especially the sleeves became pretty dirty and old, can you help me figure out how to clean it back to its white state, now that i wear it over a white tshirt the sleeves look brownish while the tshirt glows underneath.

Sunlight.

You keep it out of the sun to protect the colors, so putting dirty sleeves in the light ought to help.
ask dry cleaner store if it is a suitable and proper of cleaning the item?

It's risky, I think the white on those jackets is usually a dye or something.

Take it to a drycleaner, maybe look up some kind of fabric-sharpie to whiten it again.

Dry cleaners are your best bet. And google too. Plenty of answers there. It's almost magical
-_-

Does no one ever look at the tags in their clothing for proper cleaning instructions?
