For me, The Grave of the Fireflies was more infuriating than sad because of Seita’s decisions that eventually lead to his and Setsuko’s fate. The war was a catalyst for their circumstance, but it was Seita’s responsibility as a parental figure to provide Setsuko what she needed instead of just what she wanted.

Couldn’t agree more! Logan was a nice change of pace before it was addressed in Deadpool and Wolverine.

And to that point, bringing Logan back, variant or otherwise, ruins the impact that his death had in Logan. Now we have RDJ playing Doctor Doom. Seriously, when does it get to the point where someone says "look, guys, we need to wrap this up!"

Endgame was a perfect bookend to a VERY successful 10 year run. Cap's arc was concluded; got his dance. Thor was ready to move on. Tony put himself forward when he told Cap he "would just cut the cord." Sam had the mantle of Captain America passed onto him.

God, it's so damn depressing seeing what the MCU has become. Now I need some soda to cure it.

Shaun of the Dead was actually quite boring with the only highlight being the cricket bat scene (you know the one) and like Edgar Wright's film career, is deeply overrated. There you go. There's a hot take.

I like the Hottie and the Nottie. It's a fun rom-com and I don't think it's a bad as the internet claims. The Nottie, June, has some hilarious dialog towards Nate and I think how he slowly falls for her during the movie is cute. Plus I think it's sweet how the flashback at the end reveals that the Valentine's Day gift he made as a kid was for her and not Christabel.

The only thing I really dislike in the movie is Nate's best friend Arno - I don't think he's funny at all - but there's only few scenes with him so it's not too bad.
