Which Bible do you study?
I finally got my copy of the 1966 Jerusalem Bible. Very good condition.
The Book of Jonah was partially translated by J.R.R Tolkien.
This Bible is re-translation of French Bible named "La Bible de Jérusalem"
La Bible de Jérusalem worked from the original Greek/Hebrew texts, making this particular Bible very accurate to the original scripture.
It's filled with great notes and explanations of the scripture.

Which Bible do you study?

I don't, I'm not that interested in how people ruined my book.

Most modern Bibles work from the Volgate. The Volgate is a latin translation of the greek/hebrew scripture.

I am currently learning Latin while reading the Volgate as well.

Someday I may learn Greek and Hebrew but thats asking a lot of a guy. Hopefully I have the time.

they confiscated most of those after Nicea.

I heard they have one in the papal archives that they don't actually know how to damage, let alone destroy.

The Church leadership certainly has a lot to answer for. That's why I try my best to make my own studies of these texts as best I can.

god can stop time and moves faster than light.

it's holy in the sense that everyone has a hole in their memory of god doing it.

The Codex in Mass Effect 1 is very insightful. Did you know that Krogans have 4 testicles?

God also gave a child to Sarai(Sarah) in her 90s because she wasn't able to conceive, and Abraham needed a son.
This is how Isaac was born.

Like what from the game Binding of Isaac.

That makes a lot sense. In case they lose a few in battle.
